I have been excited about this movie FOREVER now!! Jackson Rathbone looks amazing in this trailer for The Last Airbender that was shown during the Super Bowl.

The film was written, produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and follows the adventures of Aang (Noah Ringer), a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

The Last Airbender will be in theaters July 2nd!

Robert Pattinson recently chatted with the Scottish Daily Record about his upcoming roles in Bel Ami, Breaking Dawn, and (probably not) Spider-Man!

On Bel Ami:
The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing. Her character kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal. There’s a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I’m asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well.”

On Breaking Dawn:
Not knowing when ‘Breaking Dawn’ is going to shoot — because it changes all the time — is a kind of burden, to have this thing where you don’t know when it’s going to happen… So you’ve got to organize everything in your life around that and that can be difficult.

On Spider-Man:
I don’t think I’m going to be playing Spider-Man, even though I would quite like to do it!

Taylor also interviewed during the DirectTV Celebrity Beach Bowl (interview after the jump) and chats about doing extreme mixed martial arts. “It’s for defense and you don’t want to be the one starting the fight,” he says. I love that he tries to play it off like its nothing!

Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz headed over for some football frenzy during the 2010 DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl on Saturday morning (February 6th)!

The Twilight Saga stars played on the blue team with Olivia Munn, Chace Crawford and model Marisa Miller.

The crowd wouldn’t stop squealing for him and sportscaster Dan Patrick remarked, “I think if Taylor Lautner were out here by himself, that would be enough for this crowd.”

NFL quarterback Eli Manning also got it wrong, calling Taylor a vampire. Grrr!!!

Kellan Lutz was spotted at the Miami airport yesterday (February 5th) as he departed for LAX.

Kellan is slated to join Playboy beauty Kendra Wilkinson at Maxim’s annual Super Bowl bash at the Raleigh Hotel on Saturday night.

Earlier yesterday, Kellan was part of the launch of New Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport at the W South Beach, where he played a tennis match!

Taylor Lautner has landed the role of title character Stretch Armstrong!

Universal has cast the Twilight Saga hunk to play the character based on the Hasbro toy. The studio is giving Stretch superhero powers in the new 3D franchise that is scheduled for release in 2012.

Universal Pictures Co-Chairman Donna Langley says, “In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch.”

The film is slated to release in two years to allow time to shape the project and their 3D hero.

Congrats to Taylor!

Robert Pattinson answers another fan question in this third video in the Ask Rob video series to promote his upcoming film, Remember Me.

This time Rob talks about his character’s journey.

“I think what a lot of ways the film means to me was really about Tyler’s journey. I connected to it in a very personal way. What I really thought was interesting was it chronicles the time in a young guy’s life – I don’t know if it really happens with girls – where you begin to trust your own feelings. If you like someone, like Tyler does in the movie, or if your sad, you start to trust your own mind a little bit more, and there are very few movies that specifically deal with that.“

Cam Gigandet and Christina Aguilera were spotted filming on the movie set of ‘Burlesque’ in Los Angeles yesterday (February 4th).

Also starring Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Julianne Hough, and Cher, Burlesque follows a small-town girl who ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.
